Service from 1898 to 1900 while stationed at Mulhausen. This is a terrific Imperial German military lidded stein for a two year reservist in the. And a member of the 10. 112 was formed on October 22, 1852. In 1871 the regiment was named after its Colonel in Chief Prince Wilhelm of Baden 3. Son of Grand Duke Leopold.
The regiment retained his name after the Prince's death. In 1914 the regiment was garrisoned at Mülhausen in Alsace (now Mulhouse, France). The regiment was part of the XIV Army Corps and served on the Western Front throughout the First World War. Served in the 4 Baden Infantry Regiment Nr 112. Göring joined the Prince Wilhelm Regiment 112.
Infantry, Garrison: Mülhausen in 1912. Göring's father died shortly afterwards. When World War I began in August 1914, Göring was stationed at Mülhausen with this regiment.

Overall a very good genuine period piece with strong colors which displays very well. Is listed on the roster along with the names of his fellow reservists on each side of the handle. The crested lid has detailed decorations and is surmounted by a Soldier figure raising his canteen in salute the thumb lift is the Baden griffin with outstretched wings. The central theme of the trophy of arms shows shield crests and has a nice array of Shields, helmet, Drums and Bugle in the Baden state colors. Very nice original condition throughout with fade to rosters.Measures about 11 inches tall. Well made hand accented piece. Please see scans, offered as shown. With minor wear only, otherwise.
