This limited edition, numbered, hand-painted (including gold leaf) German Stein is part of a collection. I've several more but wanted to see if just one of them gets any interest. Ransbach-Baumbach Westerwold authentic German stoneware numbered 175/900 - see photo above. They were bought by me, for my Father over 20 years ago.
Standing at about a full foot tall, this finest stoneware stein is not in MINT condition but as close to it as you can imagine. The only thing wrong with it is has some dust on it and there WAS NO original box.
There is not a chip on it, not one single scratch on any of the paint and the lid closes tightly with NO PLAY whatsoever in the hinge. This particular stein is of the Neuschwanstein Castle and on the top of the lid actually features a small piece of limestone from near the castle's location (perhaps actual building material) and the pewter tower. The detail is AMAZINGLY BRILLIANT. Comes with certificate of authenticity.
