This heavy antique pressed glass beer stein with pewter lid. Weighs over 2 ½ pounds and stands 5 5/8 tall, the base or bottom diameter is 3.5 across & circumference is 11 round, with handle add another 2 1/8 inch to the width. It holds 17.6 Imperial Ounces or 16.9 US Ounces.The top diameter of pressed glass stein measures almost the same as the bottom base. The hand painted Porcelain Portrait inset, insert or inlay within Pewter lid is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or scratches. However, the thick glass has a crack at the bottom of stein, which you can only see thru the top or bottom. Plus there is a bubble or factory imperfection you will notice next to the crack. Furthermore, there is a chip within the bottom of stein, within the inner ring, which you can feel.
